Jeannette Gurganus

Jeannette is originally from Hopkinsville, Kentucky where she lived until her junior year of high school when she moved to southern Illinois. Upon graduation she took a job with the U.S. Forest Service and worked her way up through the ranks and eventually moved to Troy, North Carolina and later to Asheville, North Carolina. In the latter years with the U.S. Forest Service she worked as a Realty Specialist buying and exchanging land. Her projects included buying land for the Appalachian Trail and the Chattooga River. In 1996, she left the government and moved to Highlands, North Carolina. Jeannette is a dedicated professional who gives her all in every transaction. She treats her clients the way she would expect to be treated. Jeannette's mantra is that every client deserves a "world class Sotheby's experience" when buying or selling property. Jeannette has over twenty years of experience in the real estate business with twelve of those years spent in the Highlands/Cashiers market. She is a "seasoned" agent with experience in lots, land, residential sales, short sales and foreclosures. She also has extensive experience working with nonprofits such as The Nature Conservancy and the Trust for Public Land. Jeannette also has an active real estate license in South Carolina and extensive real estate knowledge of the upstate of South Carolina, particularly around Lake Keowee.
